Imagine the scene a icy night at the local pub after a few cocktails in front of a roaring fire. Then out into the cold to find the car windows covered in ice. No aerosol cans of deicer and the plastic icescraper safely stored at home. How then to clear the windscreens, credit cards too valuable the next best thing comes to hand. A CD case off the last Album a fantastic tool for clearing the ice. An idea is born for the name of the next album.

Sky Burial began recording in 2004
A couple of these songs were gigged by Axletree with me playing on the Bongos at village and town pubs locally, namely “Come”, “Vampire” and “In Colour”.
The driving force of “mobile money keys...”, and “change my teeshirt everyday”, the adventure of “get the cat fed and return to Babylon ready to burn” are all things that inspired the lyrics, pulling all these ideas together into a new entity as music.
My favourite songs over the years, the ones that I think of most frequently, are included in this sixteen track compilation, that began with the publishing of the book of poems “Taxi of Light” way back in 1998.
The latent sexuality and high tension dealmaking of songs like “FollowYouDeadly”...“Headlamp Eyes”... “Do it for my Queen”, when I’ve always been like that anyway, a future together, a high octane ride...
My involvement with horses in “Dark Horse” and “Six Carrots”, skiing on the mountaintops in “Madonna in the Snow”, an interest in Magick, life in London...
We have now recorded nine albums from the leafy glades of Culworth, South Northamptonshire!
